A new point of sale application will change the way restaurant operators do business. Tender Retail’s software integration with some of the most popular restaurant POS applications will allow restaurant operators to offer tethered and wireless debit, as well as credit and gift card services, without the need for any standalone hardware devices.

The Tender Retail application will offer restaurateurs more options to choose from including processors, pinpads, gift card processors which can significantly reduce associated costs thereby reducing overall operating costs. In addition the ability to use IP communication can drastically reduce transaction processing time.

“This is a market that has never offered integrated debit before,” says Steve Brook, president of Tender Retail. “This application used with the wireless short range pinpad will allow customers to pay with debit from the comfort of their own table.”

The new software is integrated and used with the POSitouch (version 5.27) and Micros (version 3.2 SP2) systems that are presently utilized in about 40 percent of restaurants across Canada that have a pinpads.
