In the past, high transaction environments such as fast food, parking lots, call centres and kiosks were unable to offer fully integrated card processing. Merchant Connect Multi (MCM) changes all that. A multi-threaded server-based application, it has been load tested at 43 transactions per second - exceeding the requirements of a busy 3000 terminal retail operation.

Developed to address the requirements of non-PC/thin client applications, MCM can be integrated with any operating system. It can reside on individual POS stations or be located at a central store or head office location. All that's required is the ability to create an ASCII file or socket connection. MCM then handles all aspects of the transaction processing including PINpad interaction, communications protocol, bank specific message processing and certified receipt formatting.

Our dedication to ease of integration and multiple platform support does not detract from the functionality of MCM. It supports all major card types including credit, debit, private label, procurement, loyalty and gift programs. It can even offer online instant credit applications. In addition, the graphical user interface allows for simplified monitoring and advanced remote support. Instant online log files and color-coded alerts allow for pre-emptive client support. MCM's user interface allows simple configuration of information specific to each POS and new POSs can be added and activated while the server is still processing. Tender Retail offers a Software Developer's Kit (Merchant Connect Toolbox) designed to get integration completed with the least possible effort.
